Frequently Asked Questions
Still have a question about Sunday Funday or a Private Crawl? CONTACT US HERE
What stops do we go to?
We go to 3 stops every Sunday in the Flamingo & Potrero Beach area. We typically stop by
- Dunama Hotel: perched up on one of the highest points in Flamingo Beach, Dunama features one of the most stellar views of the Guanacaste coastline. They also have a swim up bar and restaurant where you can indulge in happy hour specials the entire time! Great spot for those Instagram shots!
- The Beach House: Beachfront staple that has a volleyball net (dependent on tide) and some of the best food in the area.
- Las Brisas: Brisas is the go to party spot in Potrero on Sundays! This beachfront bar and restaurant puts on a bonfire just for our crawl (weather permitting) as well as a DJ to end the night FUNKY.

Please understand, we have places to go, people to meet, shots to drink, and beer to chug. Plan ahead and get your cigarettes, sunscreen, etc… the day before.
What time do we get back to Tamarindo?
We usually get back to Tamarindo around 8:00 pm.
Is there food at the stops?
Yes! Each bar has food. Make sure to place your food orders when we first arrive at the stops since sometimes kitchens are slow down here in Costa Rica. Keep in mind food and drinks are not included with the ticket price.
Where is El Be! Club in Tamarindo?
What to Bring
- Towel
- Bathing Suit (wearing it under your clothes is best)
- Sunscreen
- Hat/Sunglasses
- Any funky accessories you like 🙂
Do not bring your passport or other valuable items, you are likely to lose them and they are often never recovered.
What happens if it’s raining or forecasted to rain?
The crawl goes on rain or shine. Usually the rain only lasts for an hour, plus you’re in a swimsuit anyway!
Do the different bars take credit cards?
All stops accept credit cards, but it’s always a good idea to bring some cash.
What if I’m by myself? Is this a good tour for the solo traveler?
Yes! The crawl is a great way to meet people and you’ll most likely meet other “crawlers” who are traveling solo as well. Plus, it’s a good starting point for the rest of your time in Tamarindo.
I left my purse/sunglasses/towel on the bus. How do I get it back?
Send us a message via the contact page and we’ll check the lost and found for your item.
I partied too hard Saturday night and I’m hungover and can’t go on the crawl. Can I get a refund on my ticket?
We have a strict 48 hour cancellation policy and can not provide a refund if you choose not to go. Don’t you know the best cure for a hangover is more beer!
Do you offer pick up from areas outside Tamarindo such as JW Marriott, Westin or RIU Guanacaste/Palace?
We do! Contact us directly and let us know where you are staying to give you a quote! Our sister company Native’s Way Costa Rica can operate any transport for any group size.
Is the tour only on Sundays?
The shared tour is only on Sundays, yes, but we can organize a private crawl anytime. Click HERE to see the options and fill out the private crawl form.
Is the tour year round?
The tour runs from Halloween through the beginning of September. Private crawls are available year round.
I’m a blogger/a big deal on Instagram/YouTube – can you hook me up?
We welcome collaborations and publicity opportunities. If you’re interested in collaborating or want to present an idea to us please contact us about coming on the tour.
Where do I buy the official crawler tank top?
We will have them for sale at the start of the tour at El Be! for $15, subject to availability
